Recommended as a valuable tool of “last resort”, the Canadian Credit Protection Corporation’s legal department is an accessible and effective resource in certain warranted situations where other courses of action have been unsuccessful.
Our staff will initially pursue all feasible debt-collection avenues before recommending legal action in a carefully thought-out plan of action. Full client knowledge of the process, approval to proceed and an initial deposit to cover disbursements (e.g., lawyer costs and suit fees) and the contingency rate are required before we take any legal action. We also perform relevant corporate/credit searches and research to ensure we have all information we need to move forward.
We keep you fully abreast throughout the process. To help increase the probability of a successful outcome, we service at all stages: 10-day legal demand letter, preparation of plaintiff’s claim, preparation and enforcement of default judgment and garnishments.
